Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, and paprika to make the bang bang sauce. Set aside.
  2. Toss shrimp with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until coated.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy.
  4. Toss cooked shrimp in half of the bang bang sauce.
  5. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  6. Assemble tacos with shrimp, shredded cabbage, and a drizzle of remaining sauce. Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, use lettuce wraps instead of tortillas.
  • Air-fry shrimp at 400°F for 8-10 minutes for a crispier texture.
  • Add sliced avocado or pickled onions for extra flavor.
