Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Rub the spice mix evenly over the pork shoulder.
  3. Place pork in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or in the oven at 300°F for 4 hours.
  4. Shred the pork with forks and mix with BBQ sauce.
  5. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half, fill with pulled pork, and top with coleslaw.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, add liquid smoke to the slow cooker.
  • Make ahead and reheat in a covered dish at 350°F for 20 minutes.
