A juicy meatloaf with a melted cheddar center, perfect for family comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Press half the mixture into a loaf pan.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese in the center, leaving edges clear.
  5. Top with remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For mini loaves, divide mixture into smaller pans and reduce baking time.
  • Freeze unbaked meatloaf for up to 3 months.
