- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Press half the mixture into a loaf pan.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese in the center, leaving edges clear.
- Top with remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For mini loaves, divide mixture into smaller pans and reduce baking time.
- Freeze unbaked meatloaf for up to 3 months.
