- 8 oz pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir until the sauce thickens.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the heavy cream.
- Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
