A quick and easy weeknight pasta with a bright lemon flavor and silky Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add Parmesan, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the heavy cream.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
