- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
- In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Drain chicken on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Toss fried chicken in sweet chili sauce until fully coated.
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, air fry the coated chicken at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
- Adjust the amount of sweet chili sauce for preferred spice level.
