- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just incorporated.
- If using, stir in chocolate chips or nuts.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For extra gooey blondies, slightly underbake them.
