A quick and healthy gourmet dinner featuring sushi-grade tuna with a flavorful Asian glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz) sushi-grade ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl to make the glaze.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat.
  3. Sear tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes per side for rare, or longer if desired.
  4. Brush the glaze onto the tuna during the last 30 seconds of cooking.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Use sushi-grade tuna for the best results.
  • Serve with rice or a side salad.
