Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
24 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls recommended)
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Form the beef mixture into small patties, slightly larger than your slider buns.
Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Drain off any excess grease.
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
Place the bottom halves of the buns on a baking sheet.
Top each bottom bun with a cooked beef patty, crumbled bacon, and a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
Serve immediately.
Notes
To prevent soggy bottoms, you can lightly toast the bottom buns before assembling or place a thin slice of cheese on the bottom bun before adding the patty.
For make-ahead assembly, prepare the sliders up to the point of baking. Cover them tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bake as directed, adding a few extra minutes if needed.
Reheat leftovers in a 300°F (150°C) oven until warmed through.
