Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Crackers or baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the wheel of brie on a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Score the top rind of the brie in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut too deep.
  4. Spread the fig jam evenly over the top of the brie.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the jam.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey but not completely melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey.
  8. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the top.
  9. Serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes

  • You can substitute other jams like raspberry or apricot.
  • For a Brie en Croute variation, wrap the brie in puff pastry before baking.
  • Other topping ideas include walnuts, dried cranberries, or a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
