  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 slices white or whole wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 large lettuce leaves (iceberg or romaine)
  • 23 slices ripe tomato
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast bread slices until golden brown.
  3. Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each toast slice.
  4. Layer lettuce leaves on one slice of toast.
  5. Arrange tomato slices over the lettuce. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the crispy bacon slices over the tomatoes.
  7. Top with the other slice of toast, mayonnaise-side down.
  8. Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
