  • 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes.
  5. Add the chopped bacon to the baking sheet with the Brussels sprouts.
  6. Continue roasting for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and caramelized, and the bacon is crisp.
