A spicy and tangy buffalo chicken pizza perfect for game day or any weeknight dinner. This recipe balances heat with creamy toppings for a crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup buffalo chicken wing sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal or directly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken wing sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Distribute the shredded cooked chicken over the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses evenly over the chicken. If using, add the crumbled blue cheese.
  7. Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven. Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your preferred level of spice.
  • If you don’t have wing sauce, you can make your own by combining 1/2 cup of your favorite hot sauce with 1/4 cup melted butter.
  • To prevent a soggy pizza, ensure your chicken is not overly wet before adding it to the pizza.
