- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or diced
- 1 cup leftover gravy
- 1 cup leftover stuffing
- 1/2 cup leftover cranberry sauce (optional)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or extra gravy
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded turkey with 1 cup of gravy, salt, and pepper. If the mixture seems dry, add the chicken broth or extra gravy.
- Spread the turkey mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the stuffing over the turkey mixture.
- If using, spread the cranberry sauce over the stuffing.
- Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading them evenly to cover the layers below. You can create a decorative pattern with a fork if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the top is lightly browned.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Ensure your gravy is not too thick; thin it with a little broth if needed to prevent the casserole from drying out.
- You can add other leftover vegetables, like green beans or corn, as an additional layer.
- For a crispier top, you can broil the casserole for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
