Transform your Thanksgiving leftovers into delicious and easy tacos, blending holiday flavors with a Mexican twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 810 small corn or flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: cranberry sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, cilantro, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the shredded turkey to the skillet.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the turkey is heated through and well-seasoned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Warm the tortillas according to package directions.
  6. Fill each warm tortilla with the seasoned turkey mixture.
  7. Add your favorite optional toppings.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the turkey seasoning.
  • Cranberry sauce can be used as a sweet and tangy salsa.
  • Leftover mashed sweet potatoes or roasted vegetables can also be added to the tacos.
